Ephesus Pamukkale and Cappadocia From Istanbul 3 Nights 4 Days Tour Package

International flights and stay in Istanbul are not included.

Day 1: (Fly to Izmir. Tour in Ephesus and the House of Virgin Mary. Overnight in Kusadasi)

• Pick-up from the hotel in Istanbul at 04:00 in the morning and transfer to the airport to catch a flight at 07:30 to Izmir (Flight schedules to Izmir may vary by about 30 minutes depending on the exact date.)
• Upon arrival in Izmir – (at 08:25) meet at the airport
• Direct transfer to the Ephesus tour area to start the excursion.

The Ephesus and House of Virgin Mary tour from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

• “The Temple of Artemis”,
• “The Ancient Greco-Roman city of Ephesus with ruins”,
• “Gate of Magnesia”,
• “Odeum”,
• “Great Theater”,
• “The Temple of Hadrian”,
• “Library of Celsus”,
• “THE HOUSE OF VIRGIN MARY”

Lunch is included in the tour.

• After the tour, we’ll take you back to the hotel in Kusadasi – around 5:00 PM.
• Accommodation in Kusadasi.

Day 2  (Tour in Pamukkale and transfer to Cappadocia – by plane or bus)

Early departure to go to Pamukkale.

(Departure at around 7:00 AM from the hotel and travel to Pamukkale in the agency’s vehicle with a tour guide – the journey takes 2.5 – 3 hours – 

Although breakfast is included with the accommodation, departure is early this day. If you do not ask the hotel to prepare a breakfast-box the night before, you will miss breakfast for this day.)

Start the tour in PAMUKKALE and Hierapolis around 11:00-11:30:

(Pamukkale is a rather small town, and although it is very beautiful, the tour lasts no more than 3-4 hours in total)

THE PLACES WE WILL VISIT ARE AS FOLLOWS;

• The magnificent travertines of Pamukkale.
• The Cotton Castle.
• The Petrified Waterfalls of Pamukkale.
• The Ancient City of Hierapolis.
• The Basilica.
• The Theater.
• The Roman Baths.
• Cleopatra’s Pool (the last one requires an additional fee if you wish to swim – an extra 10 euros to be paid on-site).

Lunch is included in the tour.

• We will then take you to the bus station to catch the regular overnight bus to Cappadocia, Urgup.

(This journey on a regular long-distance bus takes the whole night and is quite tiring.)

On certain days of the week, it is possible to make this journey by plane, paying the additional hotel cost and the air ticket, or on other days with a flight with a stopover in Istanbul.

Day 3  (Tour in Northern Cappadocia and Overnight in Cappadocia)

• Arrival in Cappadocia and pick-up at the bus station in Urgup upon arrival (The estimated time is 07:00 – 07:30) (If you take the extra flight, you can arrive in Cappadocia the previous night or this morning by plane depending on the date)
• Direct transfer to the tour area in Cappadocia and have a few hours of free time to rest.

Start the tour in Northern Cappadocia around 10:30 in the morning.

1. Pasabagi: Unique rock formations that resemble giant mushrooms.
2. Devrent (Valley of Imagination): Lunar landscape with surprising rock formations.
3. Avanos: Charming village known for its traditional pottery.
4. Uchisar Kale Altı: Stunning view of Uchisar Castle from below.
5. Göreme Open-Air Museum: Historical site with rock-carved churches and chapels.

Lunch is included in the tour.

• At the end of the tour, we’ll take you to the cave hotel in Cappadocia – around 5:00 in the afternoon.
• Accommodation in Cappadocia.

Day 4  (Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride + Tour of Southern Cappadocia. Flight to Istanbul in the evening)

• Breakfast is included with the accommodation.
• After breakfast, pick-up at the hotel and departure for the excursion.

Start the tour in Southern Cappadocia around 10:00 in the morning.

1. The Valley of Love or Goreme Panorama: Beautiful panoramic views of Goreme.
2. The Red and Rose Valleys: Red and pink canyons that create a fascinating landscape.
3. Cavusin: Picturesque village with unique cave houses.
4. The Underground City: Intricate underground system used by ancient communities.
5. The Valley of the Doves ( Pigeon Valley ): Beautiful valley inhabited by numerous doves and unique rock formations.

Lunch is included in the tour.

• At the end of the excursion, we’ll take you to Kayseri Airport for the flight to Istanbul at 21:40.
• Arrival in Istanbul at 23:10 and transfer to your hotel in Istanbul.
